Glen Little is a Senior is a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Design Technologist at AMPS Services Inc. with over 20 years of experience. Glen has proven to be a hard working and reliable employee who gives 100% effort in all endeavors. He has been successful in meeting all expectations and challenges for an extensive number of diverse electrical projects. Glen is considered a strong problem-solver and team player who quickly learns new skills, company policies, and procedures.

Glen’s most notable work experience and skills includes but is not limited to:

·         Design of medium/low voltage electrical distribution systems.

·         Control panel and power van design for quarries and mines.

·         Extensive experience with electrical hazardous area classification in the nuclear, mining, aerospace, oil, and gas industries.

·         Responsible for the provision of arc flash and coordination studies using SKM Power Tools and Easy Power software.

·         Advanced level in AutoCAD.

·         Organized and participated in (over 10) part and full industrial manufacturing plant shutdowns in addition to technical cross-functional team activities to define facility and equipment project requirements.

·         Electrical distribution system balancing and upgrades.

·         Estimating personnel requirements.

·         Develop engineering specifications for electrical equipment acquisitions.

·         Creating electrical drawings and specification (CSC), for tendering of projects.

·         Develop facility layout record drawing for plant reorganization.

·         Manufacturing department relocation and reorganization.

·         Development and implementation of facility electrical standards and safety practices.

·         Testing, calibrating, decontamination, and certification of bio-safety equipment.

·         Responsible for the provision of Protection Coordination Studies, Arc Flash Studies and Safety Standards including equipment shutdown procedures.

·         Coordinate, supervise and manage contractor on-site activities.

·         Cost conscious connector between various stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Consulting Engineer, Suppliers and Electrical Contractors in addition to other disciplines.

·         Providing cost estimates, proposals and tender documents.
